About Our Family
This is my first experience blogging. I thought that since my kids have a blog spot, it would be fun to try blogging for a couple of old people. I work for Delta Air Lines and have worked for them 21 years as a customer service agent on the ramp. Cheri works for the Jordan School District as a home and hospital teacher. She has worked for them for about 8 years. Holli is 18 years old and has just started college at Utah State in Logan and is majoring in music with a pre-med program. So Cheri and I have sent our last kid off to college. We are kind of empty nesters now except our oldest child Kelli and her husband Nic and daughter (our cute little Granddaughter) Emily live in our basement while Nic is finishing up his masters of accounting at BYU. Kelli is an elementary school teacher but is taking time off to stay home with Emily. She teaches piano lessons and teaches home and hospital students to make money for their little family. Nic is doing an internship for the State of Utah as an auditor and just got an offer to work full time once he graduates in December. We are all excited for that. Kelli is expecting another baby in January (a little boy), this was great news. We are so excited. Our second daughter is Mecqae (mc kay). She is a middle school band teacher at South Jordan Middle School. She lives in Sandy with a couple of roommates in a basement apartment. She is hardly ever home because she is always traveling or busy with her friends. Next is our son Thomas and his wife Stephanie. They just moved down from Logan to a new condo in Magna. Tom works for Tanner LC as an accountant and soon will be taking his CPA test since he just got his masters of accounting degree. Stephanie is an elementary school teacher at Copper Hills Elementary as a second grade teacher. We just received great news that they will be adopting a baby in December. (a little girl). Then there is Holli who is attending Utah State University. Cheri and I are sooooo proud of our family! We are truly blessed.
